That is great!!!
All three kids did good. THe girls were at NT kindercamp for 4-5 year olds and the instructors said that they 'did great!'. They would give the girls five minute warning before transitions and make an effort to ensure that the girls wree comprehending the directtions, but that's it. The only incident was that Abigail got upset yesterday becuase she lost a sticker, but she calmed quickly with redirection and let it go.
There was a high counsler/kid ratio, but I'm pretty encouraged by how well they did! They were very happy and are enthusiastic about attending another camp as soon as possible.
Their mother had fun telling me about some kid she witnessed at my son's soccer camp - laying down in the goal, sticking his head through the mesh and making obnoxious noises, tantruming when ordered out of the goal, tantruming and stomping off when made to 'wait his turn' - etc. This was a seven year old NT kid. Made my little autistic girls look angellic by comparison :)
YAY, Abbie and Evie!!!
There ya go Fred, and I hope this reassures you that NT Kg is the way to go!
YEAH!!! That's FABULOUS!
