Ethan got measured and fitted for a special needs stroller at PT today Hooray!!!! We got to try one out. It was wonderful. I could push it so easy. There are feet rests with straps instead of getting them caught in the front wheels. Also a 5 point harness so he can't tip himself out. 100 lb. weight limit. He is so heavy that the wheels have been falling off his old one and it has been so hard to push. You should have seen/heard me at the zoo the other day, walking and kicking the wheels back in every few steps. Muttering #^R$%& under my breath the whole time. He is way over the weight limit of his regular one. He has a really hard time walking for more than 5 or 10 min. He hates his new leg braces, he just lays down every time I put them on, but I am trying some good bribing techniques. Anyway, I should know for sure in 30 days if they (MA) will cover it. The therapists and Dr seem to think they will. Keep your fingers crossed. It will make my life so much easier.

SO happy for you and your little guy ...I hope they cover it for you...It's nice when our kiddos get something that they need and it makes our lives easier.Great news, and will keep fingers crossed. How wonderful it is to find something that makes our lives a little easer.
