Hope i am glad you are feeling better i am on Paxil i have been on it for a little over a month and i can not beleive how well it is working. I was so depresssed i was at the point of laying on the couch all day while the kids were at school.. Now iam up and running with the kids and feel good.. I also had anxiety problems and would basically not go out of the house.. Now that has gone also..Not depressed and no anxiety a little help from medicine never hurts..
I've been on Celexa for a month now. I definitely noticed a difference, then it began to wane a bit...but for the most part it's working. I think I could use a higher dose though. I'm easily prone to depression, and finally decided that I needed a med to help me with my mood. Whatever helps, right?

That is Great Hope2 I have tried Prozac(jitters!!), zoloft(zombie), Paxil (dull), Lexapro(weight gain), cymbalta(great for aches not so much for depression)...and now on Celexa and feel much better and more myself:) Cheap too~comes in generic:PI will tell you its gotten easier for me over the years to relax. I think has relaxed my DD in alot of ways too. Making sure we have lots of snuggle time each day is important. Whether its reading stories at bedtime, popping popcorn to watch movies, or laying on a blanket to watcht he clouds, anytime you can just relax and be close is alot of fun.Okay, on the topic of depression meds.........do they ALL affect...um...libido???I am in an "enjoying" mode. I have been trying to enjoy every day I have with my DS instead of focusing on all of the negative. I have been doing things with him like going for walks with him even tho it always reminds me of how slow/uncoordinated he is on walks, practicing his bike riding even though he can't really push the peddles, ect. Just trying to be encouraging without getting disappointed. I think it is the Prozac, it has really been helping me with my depression, and also this group has been awesome finding all the support & info. I was on Zoloft and switched to Prozac a few months ago, and I have really been seeing a big improvement lately. If you are depressed I would really talked to your doc about Prozac. I have tried lots of other antidepressants but Prozac is really my favorite for long lasting and total mood stabilizing although it did take several weeks to "kick in".
but trying to focus on positive things in my life. Just wanted to share.I'm happy for you. I'm happy you're happy! Sometimes when you're more relaxed and happy, you do tend to be more aware, so that's definetly a good thing!I'm so glad you are feeling better. I myself, switched from celexa to zoloft
That is good news Hope. I'm glad its working well for you.
