My son has been started on numerous medications in that last year because of his behavioral changes. Risperdal was first - didn't like it because of weight gain and constipation. Catapres - made him pee all the time at inappropriate times. Abilify, which he did great on, but caused a rash on his legs and neck. Has anyone else had this happen to their child on Abilify. The doctor said it could have been from sun exposure, but I was not sure and took him off of it. But, since nothing else worked, I was thinking of trying it again. Anyone else know anything about Abilify? I would appreciate it.John took abilify for the last two weeks and it was HORRIBLE for all of us. It agitated him so much and made his aggression worse! We put him back on risperdal for now....not thrilled with the weight gain, but I would rather deal with that than being pinched or bit. Today was the first day back at school with his risperdal and his aide wrote "What can I say.....the old John was back and I love him".
