My son is only 9, so he hasn't reached that phase quite yet, but it seems very common for symptoms to change at that age. You might find some helpful information in my list of puberty resources posted under the following topic:

Good luck with everything, and welcome to the forum.
Btw, how verbal is he? Especially if he can't communicate very well, I might suspect a physical problem -- for example a bladder or kidney infection that's causing wetting and pain (and thus extra stress, which affects his behavior).
To Norway Mom - He is not very verbal. He can say "boo-boo" and point to what hurts when asked; but, I did start him on Catapres recently and have heard that this can cause the peeing, but I'm not sure.
I don't have any answers for you, but given his communication is limited and even verbal autistics often have a hard time interpreting body signals, I think it would be best to consult a doctor and report the possible side-effect of the medication.
My son is 11 years old and I think he is starting puberty. He has been hitting himself in his head, pinching himself, and peeing his pants (he has been using the toilet independently since was 4). Does anyone know anything about this being linked to puberty. I read something about "silent" seizures that can cause this sort of behavior, but my neurologist tells me "no." I am at my witts end!
