Thanks Niki, I am always running my thoughts and typed words together....

SOS is a cry for help (my ship is going down....)

and CAP is Medicaid which are services based on the needs of the child-not income (my understanding was that my child would be wait listed based on his needs!)

 

I'm not sure what SOS and CAP are but want you to know I'm sorry you are having such a hard time!

I would stick with it...someone told me once that with social security they always reject you the first time, because people don't realize that they can apply again or appeal the decisions.  I don't know how true that is, but..........

Hope someone else has some good advice for you!!

I was trying to read more into the SOS...trying to figure out what that stood for!

Cin051639281.4411689815Hopefully it was just an oversight.  I've always read that a person qualifies as long as they are in the MR range, even if it's at the higher end.  It's so disheartening, I hope your wait for services isn't long.  I never bothered to apply here in FL because of the long list and we're moving anyway.
