My psychiatrist wants my 10 yr old to try Invega instead of Risperdal...it is long acting and he said less side effects...Risperdal doesn't seem to control his aggression very well!!
I haven't heard of this one. Our dr. just mentioned switching ds to seroquil instead. (same as risperdal)
I guess it was just approved by the FDA last year...my son is very sensitive to loosing the peak effects of the drug!!Well, we just started with Invega today and what a difference....it really helped and he only needed the med in the morning and he went to bed without a fight!!!
