I so agree about the humor, it keeps you going, thankfully my son who is 4 1/2 w/ pdd/nos also has a good sense of humor, I hone in on it to really connect w/ him...super tip!

Hi, I have a son and a neice with autism. I try and play up the good parts like being so visual etc. but as my son gets older I am worried for him. One day at a time, I guess! I could have used all the great information when my boy was small. Your list of helpful links is incredible!
tips? keep that sense of humor!!! it keeps you alive and sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying.
