Hang in there! It sounds like things are starting to fall into place if you've already taken in 2 boys to watch. My SIL does in-home daycare and really likes it. In our district, we have a separate school for the 4 year-old Kindergarten program. She spoke with the office and they started giving out her name and number if anyone asked if they knew of a good sitter. A lot of people use the schoool for service references.

I put in my two week notice at my night job. I really had no choice about it. Ds who has multiple issues tried to run away from the sitter!!! And the other week while the sitter put him in time out for throwing things and kicking her he was banging his head against the wall screaming !!! SO needless to say this sitter doesn't want to come back!!! And she is used to special need kiddos because she voulenteers at a school. oh well. But on the good news side of things I took in two boys to watch during the day. One will be starting kindergarten and the other will be 4 soon. Ds loves having them around. ANd with me home all day and night now I can almost all the time cut ds off at the pass when before he starts to have a meltdown. Which is good because it never escalates like it does with the sitter. we also have an appt at the psych again today. I am writing my letter to the school like tzoya suggested. I am making copies and sending it certified mail. Then I will call them to ensure they got it. Thanks for everyones help and kind words!
