Abigail caught a spider and a fly... | Autism PDD

...and she named the spider "present tense" and she named the fly "past tense".  Fittingly, the spider killed the fly.  I guess we're working a bit too much on verbs these days :)THAT IS SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

We did the bugs one day..a couple of locusts,  2 butterflies~one dead..one alive..a spider..and a slug!

Your girls would love it here..we have lots of gecko lizards:P

Melody - definitely coincidence - she barely gets the concept of verb tenses - but I guess she just liked the sound of the terms.  She likes to name things with these non-name terms.  When she was learning to use the computer, she named one of her stuffed animals 'Edit' and the another, 'Undo'.

OMG that is DARLING!

hahah...Fred, your girls are fantastic! My boys love catching fire flies.  The bug that excited them the most was a walking stick.  We've only found them a couple of times and the boys thought they were the coolest.

Kids are just so funny sometimes!

Just curious - I know your girls are crazy about bugs.  Do they have a favorite, or do they simply love all bugs?

OMG that is so funny! Way to go Abbie!! That is too cute !!

LOL! Fred, that is too funny. Your girls are great!
Please write that down in a journal or diary somewhere so you can mention it during the toasts at her rehearsal dinner...like, let the hubby be the one to choose their kids names, not your daughter!  Funny girl!
ROFLMAO!  Excellent.

I had to re-read what you said a few times to figure out what you meant.. I wonder if she realized the spider would eat the fly and thats why she chose the names she did..or if it was mere coincidence..

Very cute...lol
