All you posts are amazing!  You have very quickly become a great reference for us.  BTW, do you have a current statistic about how many adults on the autism spectrum lead independent lives.  By that I mean, they live in their own places with no assistance and earn a living sufficient to support themselves.  Also, do you know how many adult with autism marry? How many have children of their own?I am not a parent or a proffesional i am a sibling of my 11 year old brother zack who has asd and down syndrome! Welcome!  Facts are facts, but statistics can be manipulated and presented as "facts"...Nonetheless, your post makes a good point.
