RDI | Autism PDD

RDI stants for Relationship Development Intervention. It is based off of
Developmental Psychology theories. Since autistic kids have trouble
recognizing patterns and relationships between things in their world, and
when they do recognize these patterns they get stuck on them and cant
handle the variations. RDI teaches the child to recognize regulatory
patterns in their environment by introducing them to safe people in safe
environments where they wont be over stimulated and can remain
competent. Slight variations are then introduced and the child is taught to
repair from breakdowns that they will have. RDI teaches the child the
thinking process and not the behaviors. [EDIT] [Offensive] Please let me know if you have any
