THEY ARE EXCELLENT AND WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Good luck
Daddy
My son was diagnosed with Autism about 5 weeks ago. My mom has been looking on the computer and she had found the Baby Bumblebee videos. I have asked teachers and doctors but no one has really ever heard of them. I have seen some people on here that has used them but some dates were back in 2005. Has anybody used these videos and are they worth the money you spend on them. I am not worried about the money if they really will help my son. He is not talking. He will say words but are not consistantly. I would appreciate any help I can get. Someone suggested I do this and see what kind of responses I get.
Thanks for your help.

My son has a very limited vocabulary and he has learned most of his 12-15 words from these! He loves them- we watch at least one every day. I bought just one first and tried it to see whether he would like them- he LOVES them, so we have almost all of them! I would highly recommend them.My son has learned A LOT from them, I highly recommend them. These videos are great. Both my kids loved them and learned the words on them. They had to watch them a few times but after awhile they started copying the words.

I have heard they are good and I really like them compared to the other things that R likes ( Little Einstein)I highly recommend these. My SIL is a nurse and she it was recommended to her by another nurse friend she was talking to, so she bought the boys the basic vocab set, they were about 2. At first they weren't that interested, but we kept playing them, and then one day they clicked. This is where they connected words to objects and finally understood that objects had names. Their receptive language took off. then they started saying the words, and pointing to the words next to the object on the tv. We now have all of them, everytime I buy a new one Nikolas has a language explosion. I can point to an object and name it a 100 times but he sees it once on baby bumblebee and he can forever read the written word alone from anything without the picture. We now watch the action verbs ones, the alphabet, and the otis and olivia about friendships. The alphabet one teaches decoding and I'm pretty sure this is where he learned to decode words. They are 4 and they hear that intro sound and come running. They have been amazing for us.
tr3ndimomma, I wouldn't give up. Every couple of months pop one in for 5 minutes or so. The boys weren't interested in them either, actually they were rarely interested in anything first thing. Things had to grow on them.
Thanks for the input on these videos. It seems to have a positive response. I believe I am going to try one of them. I appreciate all the support on this site. I haven't been on it very much but I am learning how to use it and I really do enjoy hearing stories and other things that parents have to go through with an autistic child. It lets you know that you are not alone even if we are all in different states.
Can anyone tell me how you put your picture on your replies? I like how you have done that and I would love to add a picture of my little boy but I can not figure it out at all.
