Who does one go to for DAN! testing? What kinds of tests to they do? What are they looking for?

Is it best to get this testing before trying a GF/CF Diet?
fujbeck39267.9346064815We started with a few tests: Gluten/Casein Peptides, Heavy Metals, Organic Acid Test...the dr wants to wants to wait on allergy testing for awhile...the results showed a casein problem as well as yeast, so we went GFCF and Low Oxalate...Thanks for the replies so far.

How do they do the testing? Is it invasive? The dr gave me the testing kits...they included just one urine sample...I just put my then 4 yr old in the bath just after waking up in the AM (he always squats and pees in the tub)...when he squatted, I place the urine cup in his stream...the one thing about Gluten/Casein peptides is he needed to be soy protein free for a period of time!!

start the diet first since most DAN docs will ask you to start it on your first appt.

They can test for all kinds of things. Deficincies. (sp) Low glutatione, high yeast, heavy metal toxixity, allergies, etc. Ours picks the tests that are needed at the moment.
