LMAO! Those little suckers can sure manipulate at an early age! LOL Yep, my oldest pulled the "I can't hear you" when #2 was born. He totally ignored me and the baby most of the time. Only till Julian was about 4 months old. Then he decided it was time to take an interest in him and he started to try to teach him his ABC's!
I have the exact opposite problem. I haven't been able to get my ds to sit in a stroller since he's been able to walk. The problem is that when we go anywhere he runs off and won't come back! I get jealous when I see these other little kids walking next to their parents and staying with them. I'm hoping that when he starts school this fall someone will teach ME how to get my child to stay with me. While I was pregnant I couldn't take him anywhere by myself because if he took off there was no way on earth I could catch him. I can get him to sit in a shopping cart though but I have to hand all the items I'm going to buy to him and he decides if they go in the back of the cart or if they stay up front with him - and he insists loading the items on the conveyor at the check-out. If he does happen to be loose he tries to push other peoples carts, strollers, wheelchairs, etc. Thanks!Rachelle

Maybe he needs strengthening exercises for his back and legs. Now with Gabe, he was just lazy. 118 lbs. and he still wants me to carry him. I don't think so
Tammy I don't even get 5 min. out of Riley. He will walk just not with me as soon as I try to hold his hand he drops all of his weight (50lbs also but only 2 1/2). So I end up carrying him too. I wish we could find some why to teach him to walk with us. Takoda is also 4 1/2 and very big on his stroller. I think with Takoda it's more then just being lazy I think he feels secure in his. I took him to local County Fair two days. The first day I had his stroller and he was fine the second day no stroller and nothing but meltdowns. I also have to carry him from time to time but he only weighs 37 lbs. so he not to bad unless he's in a meltdown. Then he's a wirey little thing
Nelle Everytime we go anywhere if we don't have his stroller, after about 5 or 10 minutes of walking he wants me to carry him. Well he's now 4 1/2 years old, 4 feet tall, and 50 pounds. I just can't do it anymore. And let me tell you his stroller has held up well over the years but its about to go
