Big deal (a question) | Autism PDD

Share

Yesterday I was running around all day. When I got home ds and dw were out for a walk. So I laid on the couch to watch the mets. They got home and Nick started to play. We have a coffee table that has a top that lifts up with storage under it. Anyway  here is what made my day, week, year. He lifted it up and then asked me . CAN YOU SEE TV DADDY ?”  I could have fell off the couch. I smiled and said yes, thanks. I think it is a big deal because he actually wanted to know about someone else’s fealings, and how he affected them.

Oh John, that is wonderful !!! It would make my day, week , year to have my son say that too .

Nicky is doing great . Way to go Nicky That is sooooooo awesome!!!!!  Congrats.  I look forward to that day as well! That's awesome John.. Way to go Nicky!!!! My son asked me yesterday does my belly hurt.. Because the other day i was complaining of my stomach hurting and he over heard..  Yeeee"s I think this is a big deal, good for Nicky. Yes- that is a big deal!! How wonderful.  He was really thinking that through, realizing the obstruction and the result it might have to you and your viewing pleasure

Doncha love those knock-you-over-with-a-feather moments?

Way to go,That made my day just hearing that He did that for you.
WAY TO GO>
Good Job Nick! That is awesome

Linda

That is such a big deal!

Well,  he called me about five minutes later and said he was sorry that he didn't go and it probobly wasn't that hot out and he should have went. He said he would go to the next game. I told him I was proud that he called to say that and I would relate his message to the others.

It's so wonderful to see these expressions of feeling from our ASD child... though few, but certainly precious...
