Has anyone had any luck going to their HR department to ask that their company purchase additional riders that would cover costs related to autism treatments? Someone suggested this to me as my coverage is pretty paltry- only 60 visits of OT and Speech and no ABA, but Im not sure how this works exactly.
Anyone have any luck working the insurance system overall as it relates to autism? Most plans wont cover anything with an autism diagnosis. Its so unnerving to me. I have Aetna insurance through my company and the coverage is terrible for ASD.
