It's great that you are willing to help your sister. What is the school district doing for your niece? Your sister can ask for parent training through the school district. Is she getting summer school services (ESY)?
Hi! - Brick House Security carries a child locator. This link has been posted here before for parents who have children that wander:

I believe every state has an Autism Society. They could advise you about services available in your area. You could also contact the Department of Health and Human Services.
Finally, is your niece receiving services through school?
If you are looking for tips on potty training, go to the top of the page and click on the Search icon. Enter the phrase "potty training" and all of the past threads on potty training will be pulled up. There is a lot of information on this subject and I'm sure you'll find some fantastic tips.
Good Luck!
[QUOTE=jenn]she is in pasco, school they aren't the greatest, how do you potty train her, they say she wear underwear at school, but not at home! she throw a fit ! or makes a mess!
Jenn, it is not uncommon for kids on the spectrum to be two VERY different people at home and at school (or other environments). And yes, even to be trained one place and not the other. And it is not in any way a reflection on the parents.
In fact I had NO idea how withdrawn and silent my daughter was at school, and her teacher did not know how animated and talkative she was, at home! PArt of me did not quite believe the teacher, until she behaved the same way in sumemr camp!
omg!
thank you! yes jazzy get some schooling but it very little!
we were so lost! not just her!!! i've cry myself to sleep on what to do!
