Oh yes we saw those and bought them and DH was estatic! It was soooo funny. I never knew a man could get so excited about diapers. He was ready to write pampers and thank them.
They are hard to find though our local grocery stores dont carry them :( The only place here is Targert and  its hit and miss. Last time I was there they didnt have any.

I sent a email to Pampers asking about the size 7 and they said it does take some companies longer to stock up with new items. Pampers 7 have been out for a couple months  I received an email from Pampers when they came out :)

But Ive only seen them here for the last couple weeks.

mishy39259.5610763889Wow, I am really excited to hear this as we are almost out of size 6. Still waiting for language to kick in to have some kind of understanding about potty training. He doesn't seem have an awareness of going, or to be bothered by wet or poopy pants yet. The therapists tell me, based on their experience and his level, that he should be ready about 5. I hope it's a little sooner, but we will see.  We are closing in on 45 lbs as well.  I have not tried overnights. Are they pretty absorbent?Oh yes we saw those and bought them and DH was estatic! Thanks!  Size 7 may be in our future!
good to know they go that high my daughter can only wear pampers for some reason. All the other ones cause her to break out in a rash or it literally takes the skin off her hinny. she is tinkering between a 5 and a 6 now. and shows no signs of wanting anything to do with a potty.
That just means she's allergic to something in the diaper. Be it a fragrance or dye, there's something in it she's allergic to. I have a lot of contact allergies and the boys have picked up some of them and we have the same issue with a lot of brand of diapers and baby wipes. But it's easy enough to avoid the things that you're allergic to rather than treating the allergy IMO.

Wow--my dd too can ONLY wear Pampers (and, more precisely, the Cruisers
or whatever the more expensive ones are, all others break her out BIG TIME).
She is also between 5 & 6, and no where near potty ready...so I was relieved
to see the 7's as well. Sometimes too, she soaks her diapers so much I don't
think Pull-Ups would work for her, at least not yet.

to funny these are the same ones we buy too. I cant see her using pull ups yet as she doesnt let you know she is even wet and well heck i forget sometimes to check her and boy can she have a WET diaper and pull ups just wont hold her amount without me having to change more often than i could afford to change her.

This may not be new to these boards...but I saw that Pampers now makes a
Size 7 (Over 41 lbs), and Target had them. Our dd is still quite petite, but I
thought of y'all when I saw them. This week, Target gives you a .00 gift
card for Pampers purchases (we are in TX, this may not be nationwide).Thank goodness!  My 20 month old is in size 6!We had to switch to a store brand because it was the only thing Daniel wouldn't wet through. Hopefully by the end of next week I won't have to worry about them at all.  XD

Wow - that is early for a boy with PDD-NOS to be potty training. Good luck with that! Our ds wasn't trained until the day before he turned 4. He is VERY high-functioning but it was a sensory thing, I think.

I would have loved to have had those for ds - but Pull-ups go up pretty high so we ended up switching to those.

Thank you Thank you! I'm going to check it out right now! That would be so awesome!

when my son was in pampers he was 45 lbs and i was using overnights because they came in small, med, large,xl ... size 6 stopped fitting my son and making marks on his thighs. thank god he is potty trained now.

We use the huggies good nights...the sizes go really high...Mason is in size small right now...we only need them for night now but we were using them for daytime too...they were a little more durable than the pull-ups...Mason was having a hard time pulling the pull-ups up and down without ripping them.Good to know.. My son is 40 lbs and he was wearing the size 6 then he started going on the potty for about a month now he is back to going in his pants.. I amc hanging pull-ups all day long... putting him back in diapers might not be a good thing though good to know they go that high my daughter can only wear pampers for some reason. That's fabulous. My son is about to turn 4 (next week) and is nowhere near potty trained. He'll sit on the potty quite nicely when asked, for about three seconds. It goes like this:

1. Sit on potty
2. Look around
3. Get up
4. Pull a piece of toilet paper off the roll and throw it into the "big" toilet, and flush
3. Wait to get hands washed

LOL! He has most of it right, anyway. Just not the actual peeing part.

That's kind of funny. Although it must be frustrating that he doesn't get it.

You may have already thought of this, but a lot of times autistic kids learn visually. If he has a good connection with dad, maybe you should consider letting him watch dad use the toilet. If he goes to the potty OK when asked, maybe the only problem is that he doesn't "get" why he's there. He's never really peed in the toilet before -- in fact in his mind, peeing may have nothing whatsoever to do with the toilet -- so he isn't making the connection. If he could actually watch what it was that he was supposed to do a few times, it might click for him, especially if he is watching a person he looks up to or is bonded with. I know some people are weird about this sort of thing, but it might be worth a shot. Your kid won't see it as weird. He will see it as just another thing that people do, and he may just mimic it.Thanks, Nick! This is odd but I hadn't really thought much about letting him "watch". I'll instruct Dad to take on this little project...

You're definitely right about the visual learning. That's Colin, for sure.
BTW - you can order them through amazon.com. I just saw them tonight when I was looking to order some items and I happened to think about it. I don't know if it's a reasonable price as I haven't bought Pampers diapers in a long time! For those of you in Calif, the regional centers supply larger diapers for kids 3 & up, or is it 4 & up.  They are mailed to your home, at least they are in our rural area.
