I'm curious as to what the general consensus of this board would be: if
you had to do it over again, what would you do about vaccinating your
child? Would you give all vaccines according to the regular
schedule? Would you have the doctor split up the vaccines (e.g.,
not give MMR, but give measles separate from mumps, separate from
rubella)? Would you prolong the time between given
vaccines? Are there certain vaccinations you would NOT allow your
child to have? Anything else I haven't thought of?
We have a 1 month old here and I'm trying to decide what to do as far as immunizing him.
That's a tough one really. Based on what I know now, I certainly would want them separate (our other kids had no effect) and I'd want them given over a longer period of time....it really does seem like too much too soon, and if kids weren't as adversely affected before with single doses, it can't hurt to do that, right???
I do know a woman though who's son is autistic and has had no vaccinations....so what happened there? And Riley (mine) seemed "off" early on anyway...although maybe because he was a meconium baby had something to do with it???
That John Stewart/Robert Kennedy show stated that Autism was virtually unknown in China in 1999, the same year we began giving them vaccines...now there are 1.8 million cases...that's enough to make me take a second look.
What a struggle for you though, I feel for you in trying to make this decision...without any real honesty to work with on the part of gov't/fda/cdc/medical world. Go with your gut Kellie...

Hi! I am brand new to this. My name is Holly, I am 46, soon to be a single parent. My son Gregory is 4 and was just diagnosed Semantic Pragmatic Disorder.
I am very interested in vaccines posts. Why do you think that the vaccines should be spaced apart? And how can you be sure that the vaccines are mercury free?
