I grew up around the corner from Danielle, she and my sister are still good friends....she and her husband (who is a professional surfer) started this free Surf Camp for Autistic children in honor of their son, who is 13...
I keep hearing such wonderful things about it...take a look around the site...(watch the video!)...maybe if you're in the area, you can attend and let us know what it was like. So many of our children love the water, and what a wonderful gift these people are giving to kids like ours. I know they do a lot of work getting the word out and holding fundraisers etc.
