He is finally getting it!!!!!!! | Autism PDD

Hello I just wanted to share some good news with all of you..after 6 months of ABA therapy and OT and ST my ds recieved an award for counting to 10 by rote, for independently sharing his toys from home,for drawing circles and for always remaining in his seat during circle time and work time!!!!!!!! I am so proud of him his teacher also shared with me that the other day he was upset over a toy he did not get to play with during play time so while they were trying to transition the kids to lunch he was having a tantrum so she took him aside sat with him and told him to use his words to tell her what was wrong she said he stopped looked her in the eyes and said I want the dinasours!!!!!!!!! She said he was calm and stopped having the tantrum and went to lunch. Just wanted to share some happy news with all of you!Congratulations! That is so wonderful! I know you must be very proud! :)

It's so nice to have a forum like this to share in our heartaches and celebrate our childrens accomplishments!!!
