French porphyrin urine test

	Does anyone have a feel for how long it takes to receive the results.  I had asked them to be emailed to me.  I just verified from Fed Ex tracking that the lab received the specimen today.  I would assume they would do the test sooner than later.  Just curious if I may see a result in a few days or should I expect 1 - 2 weeks?  Thanks, Maggie  Maggie, It usually takes 1-2 weeks from the date they receive it.  Most likely you will get the results b/w  7-14 days.  There are some cases where it may take longer, ie for my son they retested it 3 times so it took 3-4 weeks to get the results. If you don't get the results w/in 14 days, call them.  They will send it to you immediately if the test is complete.
