My little boy is the joy of my life. At the age of 6mos, he was saying eat, asking for his bottles and saying boo boo, he was trying hard to walk at about 7mos and, at 8 and 9mos, he really was running in his walker and getting into everything he possibly could. I took my child to get one of the shots that I thought was necessary for him to have. This was at or around his 10th or 11mos of life. After he had got this shot, that night, he would have a very high fever with vomiting and shallow breathing. I took him to the emergency room at my local Hospital, he was examined and doctors said they could not find anything that caused my child to be sick. I took him back to the Health Department where he got his shots. I explained what was happening, I was told to go to the emergency room. To make a long story short, I found out that the Diptheria Shot that he'd gotten caused him to be sick. Exactly 2 months later, my child stop trying to walk, talk, play or anything. I started leaving him out of his playpen just to see his responses and would notice that if something would be hard for him to do, he would become almost frustrated and start screaming and bumping his head into the walls or anything hard enough to hurt himself. I took further action and, was refered to a place in my City that specialize in Children with different conditions. I was told some very scary things and began to start looking for help. I took him to one of the best Neurologist at Childrens Hospital where he was diagnosed with Autism. I told the Doctor everything that I am telling you, he said to me, Some People in the medical field does not know the medical outcome of some of the shots that are administered to these babies when they are born, yet they continue to give them these shots that are suppose to make children Immune to different diseases. My son is now 7 years old, he does not speak in full sentences, he does not eat foods that other children would love, he throws terrible tantrums whenever he can't make something work or he scratches himself to the white meat and makes himself bleed. I would really like to get more help for him and would love to hear from other Parents who may be experiencing some of these same symptoms. I took my son to the park one evening, there was a man there with a dog. Somehow, the dog seemed to have sensed something about my child because, he began to pull his owner in the direction of my son. Once the dog was close enough, My baby got up and started rubbing the dog and holding the dog's face. He and this dog was starring at each other as if they were talking thru their eyes. I am not so sure but, that day at the park, no child would play with my baby yet, after his encounter with the dog, he seemed content just playing by himself. I have wanted to get him a dog but dogs are so expensive and I just can't afford one for him. I am always looking for people that may have dogs that are mating to see if someone would give me one, no luck so far! However, my son is very, very smart in school. He has all A's and B's on his end of semester reports and look forward to going to school everyday. I want a dog for him because I know he would love the friendship of his very on dog. I feel that eventhough other children call him names, push him down and just basically treat him bad, A dog would give him lots of joy. So if there's anyone that would like to donate a small dog, I would love to hear from you! Thanks and I hope I was able to give someone good information on our Autistic, Loving, Addorable Children, May they Always be Protected By the Lord God!Wow, thanks for sharing. Getting him a dog would definately help especially
Hi Sunshine. I noticed the same with my son and dogs. We cannot afford one either. My son always had a very high fever after vaccines, all of them. If I knew ..... but I didn't and he had them all. Thanks for posting and nice meeting you.
if you do not have other children. When I was younger and had most of my
problems my parents woudn't let me have a dog because there were too
many kids but at 16 I finally got one and I just love dogs. Golden Retreivers
are the best in my opinion but they are not small. Sorry I can't donate a dog
but if you want to do a fundriaser to raise money to pay for one, please see
my sig file below.
