That's Great.. Let keep up the great WorkBB.. How nice for you to have a wonderful week..

Thanks all.  I am so excited by all of this.  There has been more, but those were some highlights.

PS-I apologize for the double post (here and in hangout).  It seemed to me that not many people came into this section and I selfishly wanted to share.  By the time I thought to delete the thread from this section (a'la now) you all had posted comments!

I guess it will stand :)

CHEERS!

That's all great stuff - sounds like he's doing really well!

1.       We went to the mall on Sunday and he lasted 2 hours with no meltdown.  We were able to eat a quick dinner at Ruby Tuesday’s.  I bought a book.  We even spent time at Circuit City and he was fine (I GET OVERSTIMMED IN THERE!)  He played with my cell phone through dinner, but still…we made it through.

2.       He went on a visit to the zoo with his WHOLE class and did marvelously.  He stayed with the group.  No meltdowns.  Followed all redirection and focused on the trip, his peers and the animals.  A great time was had by all.

3.       He used the potty at school!  We brought his potty top into school and he peed in it no problem!  When praised he just was so happy he could hardly contain himself.

4.       He has greeted me at the door before, but yesterday was truly magnificent.  He ran to the door yelling, “Daddy, Daddy!”  He gave me tons of kisses and wrapped his arms around my neck.  Then he said, “Carry me Daddy.”  I picked him up and he said, “Uh, Zebra, Turtle, Lion, Giraffe!”  I said, “Really, and where did that come from.”  As it turns out he was just at the dinner table discussing the animals he had seen at the zoo!  Excellent!

5.       Last (but so not least), normally he will respond when I ask him for a kiss, but this morning…he asked me to come over to him and give him one!  He has done this once before, but never quite so eloquently.  He looked at me all excited and said, “Daddy, Come here for kiss!”

I am so freakin’ happy I could plotz.
