Suing the School | Autism PDD

Anyone have experience in suing the school for noncompliance.  My family has been raked through the coals by the School Districts failure to provide FAPE, in the LRE in Southern California.  We are very determined to make them pay for my son's education and damages.  We are not the type to go after anyone but, they went too far.  We've had to deal with the Kern County Legal System and we plan to follow up on their incompetancy in dealing with children with autism.  I'd really like to get some support and advice.  Tzoya sent us some resources, looking for experience and ideas.YOu need a lawyer.  If they have a lawyer, you need a lawyer.  Go to www.copaa.org and click on Find a Lawyer/Advocate.  These people cost a lot, but you probably don't have a prayer without one.

Thanks tzoya.  I went to the site and e-mailed a couple.  I was in need of those services.

Great info, thanks!Contact the Learning Right Law Center or the Whittier Law School Center for Childrens Rights. The both offer free Legal Help from Laywers and Law Students who specialize in non-compliance. Also look up Attorney Valerie Vanaman. She is located out of Sherman Oaks and she famous in the Special Ed Law Community.
Good Luck!
