Kelly we haven't tried Strattera but from your comment how long did you give it with your child?
There is no one med that works for everyone. Generally people see results within 4 - 6 weeks max (many much, much sooner). Some meds can cause the opposite for our ASD kids as well.
Its a good thing if you can possibly document daily activities and behaviors BEFORE starting a med and continue when trying it. That way you have a much better idea if it is helping or not.
For those of you using Strattera, how long does it take before you start to see the true effects that it is working? weeks..months??
I saw that alot of peole posted good things about it.
Maybe, we didn't give it a chance to truely work.We did notice that he starting grinding his teeth real bad at night. Is that a side effect that many of you have noticed?

It took my 7 yr old about 2 weeks! She is really doing great with it! She did get a stomach ache and a head ache for the first week but it doesnt bother her anymore. Angie
