I am having one of those days.....first of all Gavin has decided he
hates summer school and I have to drag him, kicking and screaming,
to the bus stop 2 blocks away everyday. Then today I had to wait at
the bus stop for 25 minutes holding Gavin and my 1 yr old to keep
them from running into the street. When the bus finally got there (20
minutes late) the bus driver snaps at me because he refuses to put
Gavin in his car seat when he is crying and I don't have enough
hands to do it because I have to hold my baby. I have had several
nasty run ins with the bus driver this summer and I am so frustrated
because I am uncomfortable putting my son on the bus with a man
with such a short fuse, but I feel powerless to do anything. After the
bus left this morning I called his supervisor and told her about the
incident and she talked to him, but then at drop off time he was
even more rude. I guess I am stuck with it for 2 more weeks, but if
we get the same bus driver in the fall I am going to freak out! The
stress of sending Gavin off to school and not being able to
communicate with him about it is really getting to me. I try to keep
in contact with his teachers, but it is so hard. Sorry for the rant. Just
needed to get it out!
Well first of all we all have those days i just had one two days ago. So this to shall pass !!! Does your son have an aid on the bus? The aid could of been putting your son in the carseat or could of held your baby. If you do have one i apologize but if you don't you should request one!!!
Hope tomorrow is better!!!
