Hi all- my son is currently in preschool in NJ via the school district (self contained) and my husband and I know that we will want to move to a different town in NJ in two years when our son is ready to start kindergarten. Our goal is to get him into mainstream kindergarten, and I know there are some districts that do this much better than others (ie inclusion classes with a regular teacher paired up with a special ed teacher).
Are there any resources available that rank or rate elementary schools as far as their inclusion programs? We want to make a smart decision as to where we will move as it pertains to the continuing education our son will get once he goes into kindergarten.
How can I find out the best districts in NJ so I can use this information to base our decision?
Thanks for your help!
