FRUSTRATED YET AGAIN | Autism PDD

Mom2Carlo,

What types of Dr.'s have evaluated Carlo? What other symptoms does he have other than agression? What DX or DX's does he or has he had? Is he currently taking any Meds.? Any Meds. you've tried that don't work?

Some of us might be of better help and provide you with more info. if we know more.

Hi, I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I don't really have anything helpful to say as I am so new to all this myself. I just know that I too have days where I feel like I am not "up to the task" of raising a child with pdd and where I just plain don't know what to do and it all seems so dismal. Those "meltdown phases" are really hard and draining and can really take the fight out of you. Please remember you always do your best with your son and are trying to get him additional help - and that your love for your son will carry you through. Big hugs to you sweetie, I hope things get better soon.

I didnt' see this yesterday so I'm sorry that I didn't respond until now. I'm sorry that you are having such a rough time right now with him. Hang in there ok? How is his bowel problem doing by the way? Haven't talked to you since you were in chat that day. Take care and keep me posted. Hope today is better than yesterday.
