Walmart Bib Recall

I had a couple of those sesame character ones with the vinyl on the back. We didn't use them much. I threw them away a long time ago. Linda1156739206.5936342593stuff like this always worries me. When JD was a baby, we lived in base housing and all the paint in that houses were lead based, well the paint under all the other paint anyway. I use to get letters at the base clinic reminding me not to let my baby eat paint chips off the floor. And to call the housing office if the paint was peeling off the walls. We were all so sick the year we lived in the house. There was mold growing through the walls and I know they had asbetos in them.I regret living on that base so much. That was the home I took my newborn to. I've seen recalls for many other products containing lead, and it just makes me sick! You associate lead with old paint, not new products marketed towards babies and children.  What will it take to ensure that only safe products get on the market??!
