As a follow up to a previous post, I have been having a great experience with a service dog provider I found in Oregon - Joys of Living Assistance Dogs in Salem, OR.
They are not Autisim experts but they are very good at listening to what our specific needs are and are preparing a customized Golden retriever for my son. He will be delivered in about 11 months.
For those looking for a service dog, be very wary of ASDA in Lake Oswego. We had a horrible experience with them (dog bite) and they did not refund our money in full.
There are good ones out there - just be picky!
