Thanks for the info. This is all so new. It's a little scary, trying to figure out the right thing for my son. I just want him to be happy.
We've been pretty lucky in our school system, Buckeye Valley. Some days, though, I'm just not to sure they understand how he works.
I don't know any private schools but that one there. We used the public schools while there. Westerville and Dublin.

Autism Scholarship Program
The Autism Scholarship Program allows ODE to pay a scholarship to the parents of a qualified child with autism. Through the scholarship, parents have a choice of sending their child to a special education program, other than the one operated by their child's school district, to receive the services outlined in the child's individualized education program (IEP).
The Autism Scholarship Program for 2006-2007 began July 1, 2006, and continues through June 30, 2007.
Please note that individuals/entities approved as registered private providers for the purpose of the Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) may not provide all services required by a child’s individualized education program (IEP). Parents should ensure that all services included on their child’s IEP will be/are being provided by a registered private provider(s) approved to provide services under the ASP.
The Mission of the OCECD is to ensure that every Ohio child with special needs receives a free, appropriate, public education in the least restrictive environment to enable that child to reach his/her highest potential.
