oral chelation question for myself.....

	im a single mom and only caretaker (24/7) to a 2 yr old with asd. hes cf and was gf and free of dyes. i didnt do to much research into chelation because he didnt have metals problems. i had a mri 2 wks ago and half way thru they pulled me out and injected 11cs of dye in my vein. within 12 hours i suffered pustules (borderline boils) on my face which were fevered and painful, lost 1/2 my eyelashes, my hair is pulling out in the shower, muscle weakness, and fatigue. ive found out i was injeected with a controversial metal called gandolinium (in a chelated form) which causes a sever and fatal rare kidney fibrosis disease in patients with mild to severe kidney disease. i dont have kidney problems to my knowledge and am somewhat healthy but dont eat well or enough, and suffer exhaustion and stress. all my symptoms are still present and since day one i feel like i have a poison in me that i dont know how to get rid of. i bought an oral chelator today called renew heavy metal cleanse? is this the same as chelation? iit recommends using there fiber choice and oil choice but i cant afford them. will eating probiotic yogurt, eating 30g fiber a day from prunes, fruit, nuts and flax meal and taking a vit e supplement suffice? are there any side effects or precautions? i am very nervous when i see the word chelator because im the only one on earth to take care of my son and i have to be okay to do that -forever! does anyone have some encouraging (or even discouraging) words or any experience with the renewe heavy metal cleanse? thank you!!! Wow, your story scares me.  I actually hear about people coming out of the hospital for testing, much worse than when they went in, all the time.   This sure makes me think.  If they ever want to do testing on me, I will be researching thouroughly everything.   I know there are many numerous different chelators out there.  I would have to study that particular metal and such.  Sometimes chelators are dangerous because they can take out good metals as well.  You really need to do lots of research.  You can try a DAN doctor or a herbalist if the research is too much for you.  A regular doctor might can send you to a specialist in that particular problem.  What I do know is that there is an answer for you.  Someone has it.  I would pray and then have faith that the thoughts will come to you on what you need to do or someone will come to you with the information you are seeking.  In the meantime, you might want to avoid any more intake of not thouroughly researched things.  And I mean doing your very own personal research.  When I research, I go to at least 20 different websites and read pros and cons.  I deliberately look for cons.  What is your doctor saying about this metal?  Seems like the hospital is responsible for something here.  well, as a precaution, i had the doctors office run blood work on everything and anything. it all came back fine. you can only do the metals test for that metal thru places like great plain lab and it was $249 which is out of my price range. i checked with dana the moderator of yahoo clubs gfcfkids diet and she didnt like some of the high levels of some things in it so i didnt do it. im taking biotin and drinking more water. my eyelashes have grown back and hair is no longer falling out but all of those large pimples i got within hours are now turning into cysts. it reminds me of my last visit to the radioactive bar in pa. its across from three mile island where the nuclear reactor meltdown happened in the 70s. i lived downwind of it aways back then. two differnt men walked in late, one looking like he worked at the plant, both with big cysts along their faces and arms. its well known that meltdown caused several deaths and cancers but the co kept selling out and none have ever won the claim. i know right now people with even mild unknown liver problems have died from that mri injection and the bigwig lawyers are still trying to sue and collect for the victims. right now i dont have loss of life or not in a nursing home soim not getting anywhere. but i have contacted that lawyer, the fda, cdc, and a few otgher big companys to voice my opinion, experience, and that those metals should be pulled. and we wonder why some children are having problems. like me and my mom, my son is probably very sensitive to toxins, fumes, and  will probly wind up allergic to all antibiotics and pain meds like us. he already cant have amoxicillin. thank you for your concern and yes like yourself i research everything. you know the saying with us here, i have to live forever! so i couldnt chance getting more ill for my sons sake So Sorry all that happened to you.  I don't know much about chelation.  I would be careful before I take anything though.  Go to web md and read up on the ingredients in the chelation agent you are interested in using.  Goodluck Concernedpa. Try ordering the urinary porphyrins test from the French Lab for heavy metals.  You can order the kit and the test costs $120, I believe. http://www.labbio.net/pages/index_vh_eng.htm I was thinking some more about your situation...It sounds like you had an MRI with and without contrast?  Which would be what they injected you with.  They should at some time have asked you about allergies, and specifically asked about shellfish and iodine.  I believe the dye that they injected you with is an alternative to the iodine based dye, but I'm not sure.  The trouble with proving a case like this is that you probably signed a medical release form before the procedure...But if you did not give informed consent, it doesn't matter what you signed.  However, if they asked if you had any questions and you said "No" then back to square one...And so it goes... About chelation...My recommendation is that you should absolutely NOT try to do this on your own without a physician monitoring you or at least consulting with you.  You don't want to lose the essential trace metals that your body needs, as previously mentioned.  The website I gave you before is the one lab in the world that many if not most DAN! docs use to determine exactly what kind of metal toxicity or combination of toxicity you have.  You can order the test kit for free.  You anly have to pay if you decide to use it. Also, if you haven't yet done so, try to get a copy of the new third edition of "Children With Starving Brains" by Jaclyn McCandless.  This book will give you an excellent overview and plenty of resources to look into. I think that your body is already healing itself which is wonderful and what it was designed to do.  When in doubt, do no harm!  Don't try something that you are not sure of!  Especially without help!
