Average cost is - per shot with an average of about .50.

Shipping is around . Avgerage monthly cost is around -.

The shots are usually covered by insurance but not the shipping.

That is great news.  Thank you for responding.

Is your child currently on B12 shots?  If so how is it going and how long did it take before you saw any changes?

I am so excited that there are some alternative methods that are actually working for our kids.  Yet I am so terrified to get to excited.  I am just praying for a miracle.

I am very concerned about the year waiting list for a diagnosis..my sons were 27 mo and 30 mo when they were diagnosed with ASD..we wanted the best evaluation for them too, but in the end you just need services for them to start as soon as they can...I would recommend that you contact your local Regional Center, they should be able to see your child within a few weeks...these centers have the funding to give you services in the home at the least, i.e. Applied Behavior Analysis, Pivotal Response Training, Discrete Trial Training, Floor Time, Speech, Occupational Therapy, etc...

Happy Easter Everyone,

I am new to this site.  My son is 25 months old and he has not yet been diagnosed with anything because we are on a one year waiting list at 3 different hospitals to see a developmental pediatrician.

However he is on the Early Intervention program here in South Jersey.  He had a vocabulary of about 4 words and lost all his words at about 18 months of age.  He does babble and occasionally will repeat oh ho when you ask him to.  He does not have great eye contact and will not always react to his name.  He is very high functioning.

On April 16 we have an appointment with a DAN doctor which is going to cost us 0 out of pocket.  I am hoping that we can get him tested for any allergies to food, vitamin deficiencies and mercury.

I have seen remarkable videos about the B12 vitamins and I am hoping and praying that this could be the answer we are looking for.  I don't know how much these vitamins cost and if they are even covered by insurance?  Can anyone give me a round about $ amount?

We have also switched him (2 days ago) to soy milk and are thinking of a gluten free diet.  However I don't know if we should wait to get him tested for allergies first before trying this diet?  Any advice is really appreciated it.

Thank you all

I am not a parent of an autistic child. I work with my brother Dr. James Neubrander who was the first to try mb12 on an autistic child.

You might be interested in the 110 videos on our website of parents reporting what mb12 did for their child. Go to the video tab and see for yourself.

Put him on the diet before you go to the DAN doctor. Most request/require it. They can still test for things while the child is on the diet.

Praying for a miracle here, too.

My son is getting 4 hours a week of therapy from the Early Intervention program in our area.  He is doing great so far.  He has been in the program since he was 23 months.

I was told by the DAN doctors staff not to change his diet until after our visit so we are going to wait until we see the doctor this Monday.

I totally agree I think its a disgrace that our children have to wait so long to see a developmental pediatrician.

Our appointment this Monday is at Dr. Neubrander's office and I am really excited because I have seen the videos on his website.  At the same time I am also terrified because I know the MB12 shots don't work for every child.

My son has NOT yet been diagnosed but I do (even though I don't want to) see some characteristics of Autism and I don't want to wait a year until someone tells me that is why I am taking action now.  I am know my family is not really convinced but as a mother I have to do what is best for my child.

Thank you all for your responses and advice.

Let us know how it goes.

I think the majority of the children do respond to the shots.

I also started my daughter on the road to healing before having an officail diagnosis. I couldn't sit and do nothing.
