*laughs* i'm doing alright Michelle.... I'm just dealing with the typical new mom tiredness... but i also did have my tubes tied which i don't know why people make it sound like that it is no big deal.... it sure feels like a big deal.  I had the surgery on Monday and just today am finally starting to feel a bit more back to my self.  I've lost 5 lbs *laughs* so that's good.   We took Jaydin to see her Dr. today... discussed formula options and such and also brought up getting thermisol free vaccines for her... so far right now Dr. says He has been told He can't get them yet.  So no Heb B shot for her is basically what I told Him... and He was fine with that... He is more worried about the Persusstus and Hib because those both do have runs through wisconsin... Which I already knew... Chris' grandma has persusstus last year... and the town i am in actually had a baby die from getting menigitius... was all over the news.  He was telling me about a baby who had persusstus last year that was coughing so bad ended up having bleeding on the brain ... poor thing.  But anyways... the Dr. said he is willing to work those vaccines anyway we want... once a month... once every other month and then said that with her MMR shot... we will just do one at a time starting when she is 2 years old, wait a year and do another one... He said hopefully by that time he can get thermisol free vaccines... He's been trying to get them for another family He has who has an autistic child also... This Dr. isn't the same Dr. we had with Zach when He was a baby and so far He has done nothing but be supportive of mine and Chris' wishes...so I have no reason to think otherwise of him.   I'm just glad He said he is willing to work with us.   On a happier note....

*laughs* Zach just now came up to the baby who is in her bouncer seat wrapped in blankies (AC is on high LOL) and started tickling her one foot that is sticking out and touching her toes.... and giggling away when she moves her feet.

That is good to hear Sarah.  Glad he is willing to work with you than the usual "there is no scientific or medical evidence to support your position".  Sounds like a good dr.

Tammy

Sarah,

So glad to hear that this doctor is doing the best that he can in this situation.  I agree with Tammy...he really sounds like a good doctor.

Karrie

Sarah,
Sounds wonderful.
Some kids just have it and some don't.
Zach, must have a tender heart.
Good for him!
I am sure you are doing all of the right things yourself.
I am so happy for you and your new baby girl
Bev
That is so wonderful! what a sweet big brother!Sarah,

It's wonderul that Zach is taking to his new sister so well!  Luke ... well, he is very distantly curious of his new baby brother at best.  Basically, he ignores Andrew most of the day, with little glances at him here and there.  I'm trying to NOT press the issue of his touching the baby or interacting with the baby -- I'm guessing he'll do those things when he's ready.  I'm happy for you (and Zach and Jaydin!) that Zach is so willing to be affectionate and thoughtful of her.  Hope you continue to steadily feel better!

Oh, and our new pediatricianis also willing to split up the vaccines, give only the ones we want for our new  child, and spread out their injections.  Yahoo!  Sounds like some docs are finally starting to listen to we parents??? :)

Woo Hoo! Hey Sarah Good to hear from you. Glad Zach is learning to love his new baby sister and be gentle with her and protective. What a proud big brother he must be! Sorry to hear he is having some behavior issues. It might just be his way of adapting to the changes going on right now. How are YOU doing?

Just to update on how Zach is doing with Jaydin...

He is having some behavioral issues.... but so far isn't taking out any of his confusion, frustration, or whatever it is he is feeling out on his baby sister.  He is VERY watchful of her.... whenever she cries he comes running from whatever corner of the house he is in to see she is alright.  Today He gave her kisses for the first time at my prompting *smiles*... then later on today... getting in and out of the car, Zach was very consious to make sure we didn't leave Jaydin in the car

That is so wonderful! I'm so happy for your family!

Takoda was never into having a baby brother he has always been so jealous. I have a picture of my oldest giving Jared a kiss on the head in their first studio picture together. I love that picture! So I also have three between Takoda and Brodey so I decided to try to get them in the same pose.

Nelle

Sarah,

That is so wonderful!!!  Thank you so much for updating us on how things are going.  I am so glad to hear that Zach is doing so well with Jaydin.  This really gives me hope for Adam and our new baby coming soon.  Thanks,

Karrie
