Hi. I am new to the group. We are moving to Jax area in a few months. Can anyone give me advice on schools etc. I am very nrevous. I have a 7 year old son with Autism. He is non-verbal, uses PECS. He is currently in an ABA class at a public elementary school in St. Louis area. What type of services are typical in Jax? Does anyone have any experience with Jericho School or JSCA?
Thanks, Angela
Hey there!
My name is Michelle Castanos and I am third year Special Education Student at the university of North Florida. I have been working with autistic children for the past three years and I have a 12 year old nephew who is also on the spectrum. I have been providing babysitting and respite services to Jacksonville local families of autistic children here in Jacksonville Florida for the passed 3 years. I know how hard it can be for parents to take some time off and I am aware that regular babysitters sometimes don't know how to work with children of special needs. I am highly qualified and have great references if needed. If you have any questions or want more information on my services feel free to contact me at Michelita430@aol.com. Hope to hear from you guys soon!
