I have had to call the School several times about my son not getting his OT time because she was absent. Now I have her E-mail address. It does help to call and keep a record of it. Maybe a letter asking what is going on with OT and make a copy for yourself.
Get the OT's cell# and e-mail address. If you establish a good rapport, you may be able to work out "make-up" sessions between the two of you.
Good luck!
I would get on the phone and contact the school either call the ot teacher or your case manager this happened to me with my sons speech teacher last month he was supposed to get it 6 times he got it three.. when i confronted her she gave me more and more excuses so i made them put it in writing that the missed seesions would be made up.. If you do not get on them they will walk all over you .. Do you have the OT's home number? I made sure to get my kids. Give her a call and ask her "what's up?"My son's IEP states that he will get 4 hrs. of OT a month(once a week). He only had three, so what do I do next? This is the first time this has happened (it's his 2nd mo. in school), but I want to make sure it doesn't keep happening like it's no big deal.
