JD my seven year old did something really cool right before bedtime. He was drawing with his magna doodle pad. A few months back JD had stopped saying his letters and numbers, not sure why. But we have been working extra hard on it. Giving him jelly bellies when he says things as a reward. In school he works really hard on these things, he traces his numbers and letters. Well last night for the first time he wrote out and said them as he wrote them, the entire alphabet on manga doddle. It was the coolest, I didn't notice it until he was almost done. Of course his spelling isn't great but I could clearly see many of the letters were perfect. His N was huge, and some letters were so tiny I could barely see them. But it was great. I stuck a note in his bag to tell his teacher. I was so proud of my boy. I told him if he keeps this up we would have to start saving his birthday money for college.
So cool!
It seems they do these things when we least expect it! What a great day! That is great!!!!!That is cool! Great job, JD - get that college run started :)Wow, Thats fantastic. Bravo JD
Sharlet loves her magna-sketcher.
She has written the occasional number or letter on it. The problem is I couldn't prove it to my hubby when he got home
Good job JD. Good work mom for keeping up the encouragement.
