IDEA Meeting | Autism PDD

Share

Got this in the mail today and thought I would share it with others:

Proposed regulations for IDEA 2004 have just been published, and  your input is needed!

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) is a federal special education law.  The regulations define how the law will be carried out and therefore have a direct impact on your child with a disability.

Come and hear national speaker Dixie Jordan discus:

What the proposed regulations for IDEA 2004 say, and how they affect your child.

How you can make your voice heard before the regulations are finalized.

Directions to the workshop:

From the west:  Take Hwy. 494 east to Normandale Boulevard.  Go south to 84th street:  turn left.  Take the next left onto the frontage road.  PACER Center is a one-story brick building immediately north of the bridge.  Turn right into the parking lot.   Use the entrance on the north side of the building.

From the east:  Take Hwy. 494 west to France Avenue.  Go south (or left).  Turn right on American Boulevard.  Follow until the road curves and becomes Normandale frontage road.  PACER Center is a one--story brick building just before the bridge.  Turn left into the parking lot.  Use the entrance on the north side of the building.
