Do u have any leagal aides in your area that might help you? My son is on ssi and I had to pay a little back to them little pby little. I would call them also and tell them that u can pay all of that back
When SSI sends you a letter stating you were overpaid, they usually state in the same letter that you will be paying the overpayment out of future SSI payments.
My husband gets the same bonuses and every 3 months they reduce our SSI payments.
Do not panic....We have overpaid on all of our qualifying children. The withholdings are from future checks until the overpayment is paid. They cannot take out but a percentage so the checks are not much lower.

Well Collin qualified for SSI a while back, but barely. We barely barely qualified financially. So the story is my husband get 4 bonuses per year, well one every three months. So on the months of his bonuses we basically expected we wouldnt qualify but on the other months it shouldnt have changed. We have been sending pay stubs every month just as requested.
All of a sudden we find out we owe them 1900 dollars.
Im having a heart attack here
