I am trying to research resources that I can use for my 3 yr old dx with PDD-NOS. She is developmentally at a 2 yr old level. Does anyone have experience with the STAR Program by Joel R. Arick, Lauren Loos, Ruth Falco & Dave A. Krug- (Strategies for Teaching Based on Autism Research). It appears to be a 3 level toolkit for discrete trial.
Also, pondering if the Laureate software will be worth the price. Using a cheaper DTT software now. Need to control the mouse for my daughter - I ask her to point. Not sure if I am trying to start too early with the computer, but just desperate to be doing something.
She is started with a wrap around agency next week - but first impression - is that I am more knowledgable than the agency staff.
