Here is part of an email from Ali's dance teacher:

"I didn't know that Ali's habits at home had gotten that severe. It just shocks me so much because she only displays some symptoms in class. I guess in a way that's a good sign, and hopefully it will be the same when she begins school. Hopefully she will have a teacher that is willing to work with her.

I am honestly amazed at what she can do in class and how well she listens, having the disorder in mind. I want Ali to succeed and feel like she belongs. Like I said, if there is anything extra you need from me, it doesn't matter what it is, I'm here. Ali gives me a lot of inspiration on a daily basis because I can see how passionate she is about everything she does and it makes my heart melt. I want others, adults and children, to understand her in the way you and I do. So whatever you need, you let me know.

Keep me updated with everything. I cant stress enough.... if you need me for anything, let me know!! Don't beat yourself up about everything.. you deserve all the credit in the world for being the mom that you are!!"

I love teachers like that. Very cool! ANd it was a socail thing that he was doing! Congrats also on
having such a nice teacher, not many would take the time to write you a
sweet note.

Just thought I would share a e-mail Nicho;as' teacher sent. I was so happy this morning when I read it.

Hi I just wanted to let you know that Nicholas got a SUPER STAR today. He was helping Valerie in the morning with a puzzle and he was using such great words in talking to her!!!!!!! He really had a great day....

This is SO great. Keep ALL of these notes to reread on harder days. Congrats to Nicholas! Awesom! Liam's teacher yesterday took the time out to tell me how great that he was doing-- he is riding the tricycle at school now (he is behind the most in gross motor right now), standing up in front of the class and spelling his name, participating in circle time, singing the songs, etc, and calling her Ms Anderson (instead of anderson LOL). I knew he was doing well, but just hearing it from her makes me smile, and I know that recieving that note this AM made you smile :)
