I am from Louisiana and I trying to find someone that can offer some suggestions. My daughter Lauren is 8 years old has been finally diagnosed with PDD. I have been having problems and don't feel that the school system has the proper resources for special ed children and I am begining to feel that I need to pull her out of the school system and have her homeschooled also have her in private ot and speech and language therapy. This has been a fustrating 8 years and if anyone has any direction I would greatly appeciate it.I would find the best special education advocate you can in your area and pay that person to see about getting the proper education for your daughter.
