medical records Has anyone requested the medical records  of your child's birth?  I haven't done so yet but will. how do you do this?I am in the process of doing this.  The hospital sent me a form to fill out so they can release the records to me.  There is a small fee for every page they copy.  Yes, I did it for both kids.  They did charge me.Who do you get them from? the ob/gyn or the hospital? ryansmom - medical records are available to you under the "freedom of Information Act". Once you request the records a release form will be sent to you. Hospitals usually impose a small charge for photocopying, but it's not expensive. If you request a childs medical records you may also have to prove you are the guardian. Mysh
