Hi -I have prob a stupid question-
If my child is eating well and not having any reactions, how do I know that he might need a special diet?
I took my kids off dairy first and achange in behavior was very noticable within a week. Other people commented on his improvement and they didn't know I had changed his diet. His concentration increased, and he made more eye contact with people. When he went back on dairy he would scream shout run around flap his hands. He actually seemed worse. At hat stage I thought my little girl was ok but removed the dairy because she never tolerated it well, it worsened her diarrhoea. Later , 2 years later we went gluten free and now they have normal poos. This doesn't wok for everyone though. So if you want to, I guess try it. I understand there are blood tests you can get done by a DAN doctor. We dont have them in Australia. LizHere are some DAN docs in Australia
