PS wondering what you mean by "Having A HArd Time Chatting" ? Hi I just wanted to welcome you to the board. I'm Karrie and I have a 3 year old son with Pdd-Nos. I also have 2 other children...a boy 12, a girl 11, and I am pregnant with another boy due in August. I hope you find this site as helpful as I have. There is lots of support here and friendship!! Karrie Welcome to the board Mike's Mom!!!. Yeah Jeffrey feels the same way about autism. He hates it. He then will say he hates himself. I just remind him that he doesn't hate himself just the behaviour. Some days it works somedays it don't. Glad to have you onboard. Don't be surprised if alot of people have plenty of questions for you. My main question for you is how did you survive the teenage years? I am just starting and don't like it so far, lol Tammy Welcome to the board. I'm Nelle I have a 4y/o HFA. And 3 other wonderful boys I'm raising. I have had an I hate autisim day too. I took my oldest to the eye Dr. today and he got his much awaited contact lenses.
Then my ten y/o is ODD and he was just trying to annoy his brothers the whole time
But that is what is so great about here people get it! Now that thats off my chest WELCOME AGAIN LADIES. Nelle Hi Yvonne! Welcome to the board as well! I am also a single parent. I have a daughter who will be 17 next weekend with ODD and Major Depressive Disorder, my 9 3/4 Year old son is currently in the process of a re evaluation, his therapists believe his behaviors and emotional and social skills are severe and they are in the process of re diagnosing him with classic Autism. My youngest is 7 feels left out is displaying some depression and anger and I was told by the neuro she had enough characteristics to question aspergers with her. (I am not currently going through an evaluation for her because she is doing very well with school and better with friends) I hope you find the board welcoming and helpful. There are others here who can understand what you feel and go through and who truly care!
