Dear Parents and Care-Givers:
Jacob, a five and a half year boy with moderate Autism resides in Southwest Florida. His parents have just returned from a five day trip from the Options Institute in MA, specifically for the Son-Rise Program, the Start-Up Program. Please see their web-site for further details.
We have created his playroom, including the two-way mirror, for observing and training volunteers. I am his primary Son-Rise trainer and coordinator.
This message is two-fold. We would like to extend our knowledge about the program to all of you and offer our assistance in any way we can. Michelle, Jacob's mother is the Special Food Coach. Healing through food. Michelle is in her sixth month of pregnancy. Ben, Jacob's brother is three years old.
Secondly, we are looking for volunteers for our Son-Rise Program.
We are located in Ft. Myers and Cape Coral FL.

Volunteers: Fun-spirited and mature, age 16 to 116. A minimum commitment of 4 to 6 hrs a week. Have an animated personality and an optimistic outlook on life. Open minded and receptive to learning new ideas.
