Does anyone have any info on schools in the Dallas metroplex area that focus on learning through sensory play?
Thanks.
Most of the schools that I am aware of still have an ABA focus.
Starpoint School at TCU is an alternative to public education that I
have heard is really good about individualizing strategies for
children, but they are not specifically "sensory based." Their website
is:

I used to work in a public school one-on-one with a child that was
diagnosed with PDD, and he did well with sensory adaptations in the
classroom, but you have to have a really good working relationship
between your private OT, ISD OT, teacher, and facilitator to get that
working well.
Contact FEAT of North Texas - they usually have up-to-date information.
