mentioned a childs name | Autism PDD

just wanted to share, yesterday after we had carlo's ot eval, we were on our way to take carlo to school(picnic day). i said to him your having a picnic at school today, he was quite for a bit then said hannah is having a picnic today. i wasn't sure what he ment so we continued to school, when we got there i said to the teacher, please tell me u have a hannah in here and she said YES. i was so thrill that he finally mentioned a kid from his class, and to top it off i've been saying since school started that i would get him to school and drop him off without him having a meltdown before the end of school, well yesterday was that day, it was great, i left and wasn't upset finally and neither was he, btw there's only 1 day of school left but hey that counts, thought i'd share thanks for listening.mom2carlo
